How did you start blogging? 
I created a blog for myself and close people in 2015 that focused on sharing the beauty of finding and wearing conservative, modern clothes. 3 years after creating this blog, I decided to make it public, and then I discovered I was pregnant, so I dropped everything and focused on preparing for my beautiful baby boy! Now, a year later, I’m officially launching LalyClawson.

What inspired your love of modest fashion?
I’ve always loved looking my best! My passion for modest fashion began in the Dominican Republic, where I was born and raised. Dressing conservatively is very important to me, but it was very costly in the Dominican Republic. I soon found out that the best way to find elegant, affordable outfits was to search online! In no time, I learned how to find clothes that were not just modest, but also fashionable and in style!

What is your favorite season?
Autumn is my favorite season! I love the weather, and the fall colors are absolutely beautiful. There are so many opportunities for cute outfits! 

What are your favorite stores?
My favorite stores are Amazon, AnnTaylor, Anthropologie, Downeast, DSW, Express, LOFT, Maggy London,  Nine West, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Shein, Shopbob, Stitch Fix, Vince Camuto, and Zappos.

Where do you shop for home decor and everything else?
I love to shop for my home and anything else I need at Joss&Main, Wayfair, Amazon, Target & ZGallerie.

What are your favorite beauty products?

Are you married?
Yes, I’ve been married for 4 years to the love of my life, my best friend.

Do you have kids?
I have one baby boy. He is our greatest blessing, and truly a miracle and gift from God.

Why did you create LalyClawson?
I created LalyClawson to help you find looks that are modest and fashionable! 

When did you create LalyClawson?
In 2019, after working hard for many years.

I’m 5’0!

What is your favorite color?
I love blue, black, and basically any bright color!

5 in most of my shoes and sometimes 5.5 in boots.

I have a beautiful and very talented friend that does that for me. It is super fun to take these photos with her!
